Merry Christmas
Happy New Year
and Blessings to all!
As the twelve days of Christmas near their end, we continue
to celebrate the light that the darkness has not overcome,
Jesus Christ our Lord.  God sharing our humanity in the
Word made flesh.  In communion, the Word is made flesh
in us as well, that we may go forth from worship to share
the light of Christ in our daily lives.

Needs list from the Host Committee for the 2012 NACCC meeting
June 23-26  (Sat-Tues)  /  Bloomington, MN
From Pastor Casey vanderBent, Co-chair of the Host Committee, here is a list of needs:
  • Help with decorations for lunch tables, banquet, and the dais in the meeting room.
  • Help preparing & serving food at a picnic at Minnehaha Park on the Sunday of the meeting.
  • A fast, black & white copier for use one 1 week at the hotel.
  • A/V equipment, including projection screens and sound equipment, for the workshop rooms on Sunday afternoon.
  • Help putting together welcome baskets for Leadership Team members (about 45) who will be here a few days before the meeting begins. We are thinking that perhaps each church could donate one item.
  • A licensed parliamentarian for free or reduced rate for business meetings (Saturday afternoon, Monday & Tuesday morning and afternoon).
  • People to work during the meeting as Host Committee representatives and Marshals. (Marshals help run meetings
by handing things out, sharing info, counting votes, running errands, etc.).
  • People to provide additional transportation for the mobility impaired who cannot get to the light rail line for Sunday’s trip to Minnehaha or would have trouble getting on the school buses for closing worship/banquet at Colonial on Tuesday.
  • MONEY.  We need every church to participate in supporting the meeting financially. We are doing our very best to provide an exceptional experience for participants while also making it as affordable as possible.  (Pledge form on reverse side)
Please contact Diana Welander or Pastor Chris with any questions about how YOU can help!Your browser may not support display of this image.
